The tech giant, Apple has been reported to asking for the Apple Watch 2 component orders from its suppliers lately. If the rumors prove right, this could also imply that the new watch production would begin really soon.
Digitimes, which has a reputation of often giving concrete reports that the partners are quite familiar as both biggies namely, Samsung and Advanced Semiconductor Engineering along with others such as Amkor, Kinsus Interconnect Technology and STATS ChipPAC have made cuts accordingly.
It is said that ASE would be the main supplier for the provision of SiP modules as a supporter for the S2 chip that shall bring about the new smart watch whereas other suppliers would include STATS ChipPAC and Amkor.
The Apple Watch 2 is thought of as just a software update version than a whole new hardware design as well and it is also thought that if its releasing timeline matches that of the iPhone 7 then it would also be having the signature tick tock rhythm from the phone.
