According to Mac Rumors, the photos have been published by Feld & Volk, an exclusive iPhone modifier, showing a completed rear shell of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, which includes a number of new design transformations. In the previous, the same organization revealed an incomplete version of the specific component.
The first key design alteration that has been noticed is the volume button cutouts, which can reduce the possibility of unintentional volume change. It is almost same to another photo showing an alleged iPad Air 2 rear shell.
The Apple logo on the rear shell was first introduced in the original iPhone. Since then, it hasn’t been included. However, the alleged iPhone 6 rear shell contains the integrated Apple logo, and is rumored to be constructed with a scratch resistant material, like the Liquidmetal.
The external camera ring has been depicted in another image. It has a diameter of 6.6 mm and is said to be capable of being placed into the rear camera hole. Though the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is very likely to include the stick-out rear camera, as stated by previous rumors, the case is still uncertain for the 4.7-inch variant.
Another photo revealed a long, flexible cable, which has been claimed to be the part of the iPhone 6 home button. However, Mac Rumors thinks that it might be the component of the new iPad.
Apple is expected to release the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 in September. However, its larger counterpart might not see its debut in this year, as manufacturing issues have reportedly delayed its launch until 2015.
