Apple is looking to bring more innovation in its future iPad, as a new patent reveals about such a smart case that will be equipped with an integrated keyboard.

According to Apple Insider, entitled as “Cover for electronic device,” the patent discusses an idea of using the existing Smart Case and Smart Cover with a thin touch sensitive keyboard which can be disconnected while the iPad remains inside the cover.

Though Apple’s aluminium wireless keyboard uses Bluetooth to get connected with the iPad, the keyboard envisioned in the patent can set the connection not only through the wireless method but also using a physical plug.

Unlike the use of magnets in the current Smart Case and Smart Cover, the patent discusses about several other things to help the device remaining in its position, including buttons, snaps, buckles, and Velcro.

The iPad lovers are really excited to see the system get applied in the future models of Apple’s mobile devices.
