The updated Air model is coming out this year, but others will have to wait

The iPad is one of the hottest products that Apple has ever produced. The iPad air took that a step further and created a much smaller model to match the Macbook Air. 2014 will bring an update that will please users of the iPad Air.

With all of the effort being put into projects like the iWatch, Apple is saving more intense models for the next year. Not much is known about the new iPad Air unfortunately. It is expected to have minor upgrades like the half upgrades that iPhones usually go through.

But the upgraded iPad has a bit more information out, despite the fact that development is still at least a year away. The new iPad will be 12.9” and have a much more powerful processor, making it a great way for developers to get used to the more powerful devices that Apple is going to start producing all around. The new iPad will also have 35% higher pixel density, giving it a massive screen upgrade, along with an A8 processor and an ID fingerprint sensor. They are calling it the iPad Pro. Many people have attempted to use the iPad as a replacement for their laptops, this upgrade will make that much easier.

These kinds of updates are what people have come to expect, and many feel the iPad has been too long without a major one. What kind of solid information we’ll have remains to be seen, and we probably won’t know too much until the iWatch has finally seen the light of day.
