The Salary of Apple CEO Slightly Increases to $4.3M

Tim Cook’s payment sees a slight rise in 2013

According to Apple’s financial document revealed on Friday, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, awarded with a salary of $4.3M during this year to command the tech giant in the highly competitive technological market.

According to CNET, the payment includes $1.4 million base salary and benefits valued over $53,000. Moreover, Cook has received a maximum bonus of $2.8 million.

However, the salary is in steady state compared to the payment of last year. In 2012, Cook was awarded with $4.2 million, which is only .1 million less from the salary of the current year.

The information about Cook’s salary was revealed in the proxy statement, along with the announcement of the annual shareholder meeting scheduled to be held on 28th February.
