According to Digitimes, a Taiwan based organization, Samsung and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) is going to construct Apple’s future chips.

Samsung, one of Apple’s major rivals, will work on tech giant’s processors up to at least 2015, while TSMC will manufacture the components of the next model of iPhone which is expected to be released in 2014.

CNET states that TSMC has already begun working on Apple’s A series chips. Moreover, TSMC is going to apply the FinFET in the future chips, which will take the functions of Apple’s processors much closer the Intel chips. Samsung is also going to use the same technology in its upcoming processors.

Due to the recent patent clashes, it was predicted that Apple would not be working with Samsung for the construction of its future components. But, now, it is clear that in case of business, anything can be possible.
