Localscope 4 is set to take exploring places to a whole new level with a revolutionary new interface that lets you see everything immediately around you from 20 diverse sources, in a unified view. Just launch the app to get a quick glance of the most relevant place listings from Google, Facebook, Yelp and others along with tweets, Wikipedia pages, pictures from Instagram, Flickr and more, all from your immediate surroundings.

Mumbai, India, December 16, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Localscope 4 is now available worldwide, and its designed exclusively for iOS7. Since 2010, the quintessential location browser app for the iPhone has helped users explore their surroundings from 20 diverse services, in 21 languages. Version 4 is its biggest update yet and promises to extend the unmatched location discovery experience with an intuitive new dashboard that presents relevant local information together from various sources into one unified view.

Search is now integrated into the dashboard, lets you look for anything around you and shows results from all of the services together. A new intelligent parallel query engine built into the app makes this possible, also enabling a smooth and fast browsing experience. The dashboard provides an unprecedented experience of getting to know more about your immediate vicinity quickly and effortlessly.

The Localscope 4 user interface has been completely redesigned to prioritize content and context. Much of the redesign is instigated and inspired by the awesome iOS7. Their Design focus has been to enhance interactions with the content, subtly highlight context and make the interface nearly disappear. Interactive animations and gestures have been thoughtfully added across the application. New 3D maps provide a useful and beautiful mapping experience.

Localscope 4 aims be the ultimate tool to discover and visualize local information. If you need to find something around a place, Localscope is the best app to go to.
