The iPhones Reign Supreme in Japan’s Top Selling Smartphone List Apple's iPhones grab the top 9 spots in the ranking of Japan's top selling smartphones

In the ranking of Japan’s top selling smartphones, different models of the new iPhone 5S and 5C have grabbed the top nine positions to outsmart all of its fiercest rivals

According to BCN, a Japan based company who collects and analyzes the data of consumer electronics,  Apple’s latest models of the iPhone are dominating in the ranking of Japan’s top selling smartphones, as the devices have occupied the top 9 positions in the list.

Both the new iPhone 5S and 5C models have succeeded to generate a huge number of sales in the stores of different carriers, which help Apple to grab a strong position in the Japanese smartphone market.

BCN states that the 32GB iPhone 5S has become the top selling phone in the country. The different models of iPhone 5S and 5C have grabbed the next 8 spots. The 10th position has been taken by Sony Xperia-Z1, which is the only smartphone not being manufactured by Apple to get into the list of top 10 best selling smartphones.

The domination in the ranking clearly shows Apple’s enhanced market growth in Japan. According to Japan Daily Press, the average share of three months of the iPhone in the Japanese market is 61.1%. In October, the iPhones grabbed as high as 76.1% of the share. It is significantly up from the previous downward market share of 47.4% and 66.2% which took place in August and December 2012 respectively.

The tech giant is looking forward to extending its reign in the Japanese technological market.
