A project shows that the different functions of a customized Toyota 4Runner can be regulated by using iPad

In the Las Vegas SEMA Aftermarket Trade Show, a California based maker reveals such an outstanding customized model of Toyota 4Runner that can be regulated by a group of iPads!

The design of “The Ultimate Dream Ski 4Runner” is associated with Simon Durmont, a reputed skier who won X-Games. Apple Insider reports that with the group of five iPads, almost every interior function can be regulated. The user can adjust the volume of the media player as well as close the windows.

The iPads also enable the user to activate other convenient features as well. For example: a group of running boards and a ski rack system can be controlled by applying the virtual button of iPads, which ultimately opens the rack to display the ski and adjust itself to a suitable position .

According to Jon Tondro, the captain of the project team, the parts are “James Bond-like.”

It is not a new thing for an iOS powered device getting applied in the automotive field. Earlier, Volkswagen and Audi unveiled prototypes for repair and maintenance arrangement using the iPads.
