On Tuesday, Apple revealed a new patent filing, stating an innovative technology of home automation.

According to Apple Insider, the home automation system has been provided with the ability to turn on the lights when the house owner enters his home, attune HVAC configuration based on the user’s activity on remote locations and other unrevealed applications.

The automation system also includes geo-fencing feature with activity detection ability, which will inform the system not only about the user’s location but also the particular activities the person has been involved in.

Though the home automation system mainly depends on iOS powered devices, such as: iPhone and iPad, the engineers aim to use data from other devices as well, such as: key fobs and entrance transmitters.

Though it will take several years to get the technology applied in the real world, it will indeed bring a revolution in both home and business automation systems.
