Ever fertile rumor mill claims that Apple is coming up with a new iPhone with a five inch screen towards the end of the next year. The users will still be able to operate the new iPhone 6 with one hand

According to the report published in the Japanese magazine Mac Fan, Apple is coming up  next year with its new large five inch display phone that will have 440 pixels per inch. The author of the report claims that Apple will make both screen sides extremely thin, which will allow the new iPhone, which will be promoted as iPhone 6, to be operated with only one hand.

Customers like to be able to use their iPhone with one hand only, what prompted Apple to focus on it when designing the four-inch iPhone 5. All previous models of iPhone had 3.5 inch display.

In addition to the report published in MacFan, whose reliability reputation is not known, the same information about the new, larger iPhone comes from the much better known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. This KGI Securities analyst said last month that Apple seems to be planning the release of a new phone with a screen  as large as 4.5 -  5 inches. He did not think that Apple will release larger phone because of its firm principle to ensure single hand use.

Big-screen phones or "phablets" are becoming very popular in the market of smartphones. Samsung is leading the way, releasing recently Galaxy Note III with a 5.7-inch display. Its Galaxy Mega is almost a small tablet – it has a 6.3-inch screen.
