According to Mac Rumor, Apple is looking to make Garage Band, a music making software, free for the iOS 7 users.

Apple has been found to update its iLife and iWork app, along with a statement saying that Garage Band will be turned out as a free app, which currently costs $4.99.

Nonetheless, the Garage Band users will still require paying for the specific instruments and sounds. In other words, the basic features will be available for free, but in case of premium content, the users will be required to make the payment.

Apple states, “Garage Band is free on the App Store for all iOS 7 compatible devices; additional Garage Band instruments and sounds are available with an in-app purchase, iPhoto, iMovie, Pages, Numbers and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 7 compatible devices activated on or after September 1, 2013.”

Apple is strongly rumored to reveal the new apps on 22nd October’s big event.
