New iPad Models Tipped by Chinese Suppliers
Apple

It hasn't been very long since Apple unveiled new iPhone models and now the tech community is looking forward to Apple unveiling new iPads. Rumors and leaked photos have been surfacing from Chinese parts suppliers including one photo that showed a slate-gray enclosure for the iPad 5.

Reports indicate that the enclosure is thinner and lighter than the current generation iPad. Some speculation is that the iPads can also get a fingerprint sensor from the iPhone 5S known as Touch ID. The speculation suggests that the iPad may come in various colors including silver and gold.

The fifth-generation iPad is also tipped to be shorter and narrower with a smaller bezel than the current generation tablet. Apple's tablet announcement is expected to be made before the holiday shopping season, but no official confirmations have been offered.
