Apple Releasing iOS 7 Today

Apple is ready to unveil the 7th version of iOS today

According to The Telegraph, Apple is ready to release iOS 7, the latest version of its mobile operating system, on Wednesday.

The new iOS 7 comes off with some major changes, including a redesigned and fresh interface with flatter icons and sharper texts.

A new feature, called the “control feature”, has also been included which enables the user to turn Wifi function on as well as changing volume and brightness setting, by simply swiping their fingers from the bottom of the screen.    

Other notable new features are: iTunes radio, changes to Siri and an addition of a torch setting for the iPhone.

Craig Federighi, the tech giant’s senior vice president of Software Engineering, states that downloading the new version of the iOS will not only make the customers feel like they are getting a new device but also make the users to get familiar with it instantly.    

The new iOS is expected to be available for download at 10:00 am (PST).
