China’s second largest carrier, China Unicom Ltd, has informed that the online reservation for the recently revealed two models of the iPhone have exceeded 100,000 units.

However, according to Bloomberg, the company has not revealed their plan of price for iPhone 5S and 5C yet.

Since unveiling the iPhone 5S and 5C, Apple has been struggling with the diminishing share in China-the world’s largest mobile phone market. The goal of the giant company has become more difficult to be obtained with the declaration of China Telecom, stating that the estimated subsidiaries are about 15% less than the subsidiaries provided for the previous model.

Eva Yip, an analyst from Sun Hung Kai Financial Ltd. , states that the plan has become more conservative at this time. He also mentions  that the percentage of upfront payment of the subsidy lower than the iPhone 5 subsidy plan.

Yip states that if China Telecom makes a monthly plan of 289 yuan ($47) for the iPhone 5S, then a subsidy of 2,890 yuan will be carried out, which is 15% lower than the iPhone 5 on the same package.

Jacky Yung, a spokesman for China Telecom, refuses to express any opinion about Yip’s valuation.

Despite all the odds, Apple is seeing the light of hope as the response of the Chinese buyers is simply outstanding. Many people think that it is China Unicom’s lucrative contracts which is responsible to generate such a massive amount of sales.

The new iPhones are expected to be available at the store from the 20th September.
